Mark Warren of HILLSEEKERS 4WD N.Z. Ltd specialises in 4WD driver training. He also advises on vehicle set-up for corporate clients needing to maximise efficiency, and minimise running costs.

Mark Warren’s skills as a professional instructor have been developed over a continued lifetime of owning and operating 4WD vehicles on challenging terrain. From being a commercial driver on New Zealand ski field roads for many years, and operating a vehicle every day on his steep, muddy hillcountry farm, he developed his skills further by competing in rallies, and becoming the New Zealand National Champion in the  V8 Production Modified Class of the NZ 4WD series Association National Rally series in 1986 and 1987.

He won the 4WD driving competition at the National Field Days in 1986, and went on to demonstrate driving for Toyota NZ at the National Field Days.

Mark Warren was also employed by Mazda NZ Ltd as their 4WD adviser and trainer for staff and fleet buyers.
He also has worked with Mazda Japan on design and tuning issues on the 4WD ute range.

Mark was part of the group of 6 who wrote the unit standards on 4WD training.

Hillseekers has now trained over 4000 people through out NZ both in 4WD off road skills and in extreme snow and Ice driving skills.
